WhatsApp is a sales channel. Treat it like one.

For many businesses in Morocco, the real conversation happens on WhatsApp. Connected properly to your website, it turns visitors into customers without losing track of anyone.
Visitors read the website, then they ask their question on WhatsApp. For many businesses in Morocco, that is how most sales begin. Yet WhatsApp is often handled on one personal phone, with no structure and no follow-up. A little organisation goes a long way.
Start the conversation with context
A WhatsApp button on every key page is a good start. Better still, each button can prefill a message that says which product, service or page the visitor came from. You save a round of questions, and you know what interests them.
Set up the business profile
- Your name, logo, description, address, opening hours and website.
- A short greeting message and an away message outside working hours.
- Quick replies for frequent questions: prices, delivery, availability.
- A catalogue for your main products or services where it makes sense.
Organise the team
When several people answer, decide who handles what, how fast you reply and how conversations are labelled: new enquiry, quote sent, customer, follow-up. As volume grows, a shared inbox tool can let several people answer from one business number.
Follow up, without spamming
A polite follow-up after a quote often makes the difference. Mass messages to people who did not ask for them do the opposite, and can get a number restricted.
Measure it
Count clicks on WhatsApp buttons, conversations started and sales closed. It shows which pages bring real customers.
A conversation is the warmest lead you will ever get. Do not let it go cold.
